Miscers over 30, is it worth to go see a dermatologist?

I don't have terrible skin but I have been trying to get the glass skin look. I have been using a combination of cleanser, Vitamin C, Salicylic Acid, Retionl, moisturizer, suncreen for 6 months but I haven't see much difference.

Thinking about seeing one so they can make a personalized routine for me.

Doubtful. Legit just listen to your skin.

Obviously hydrate and eat well, but no point having like a 7 step skin routine if you're just adding in random products without being mindful of how your skin is reacting to them. What does salicylic acidacid actually feel like and what does it do for you? What about your moistuizer? etc.

Why a dermatologist? I personally recommend Arbonne skin care products, but I have oily skin so I can't use a lot of them and I have to buy various oil-free sunscreens and makeup.

They have a male anti-aging line which is good to start when you are 30.

My diet is a mix of milk, whey, eggs, rice, chicken, peanut butter, olive oil, fruits, and a cup of OJ. The worst thing about my diet is sugar from OJ and yes I do drink plenty of water. Like I said, my skin isn't bad. I just want that glass skin

I use neutrogena but dermarolling is interesting. Routine?

Agreed, I started to add products one at a time. Moisturizer is a must as my skin gets dry and SA feels nice but I am not seeing visual improvements.

That's the way. It's just trial and error to find out what works for you. Personally, just keeping clean shaven works for me as far as frequent exfoliation. Can use BHA every few days but it's pretty irritating. Sounds gay as fuk, but my go to moisturizer is Beauty of Joseon's Dynasty Cream.

i havent used their products since 2010, but it's just filled with fragrance, unnecessary ingredients, comedogenic ingredients. As for their sunscreen, they're not that strong as euro/asian products and don't sit well on skin.

as for retinol, tretinoin/adapalene is stronger, but you have to be careful not to get it near the eyes and to use sunscreen diligently.

also, you dont use cleanser in the morning? la roche posay has some good cleansers, as well as vanicream

https://www.arbonne.com/us/en

I used to sell Arbonne and I'm still a consultant just to get the 35% discount, but it's against the rules for me to sell on here, plus it would reveal my name so fuk it.

Drink juice that has a bunch of celery or cucumber in it. Deadly fookin srs, I discovered this by accident. Preferably fresh/homemade but if not you can buy it at the supermarket. Drink a couple of glasses over two days and I swear your face will be clearer.

Yes, adequate hydration and vitamin/antioxidant intake helps a lot. Lots of fruit/veg. Get solid fat intake from natty sources as well. Stay away from procssessed foods and mass consumption of sugar. All of that will help your skin masively, and obviously going to help everywhere else as well

I noticed collagen supplement, raw dairy (assuming you tolerate dairy well), raw meat and fish, and low carb diet with avocado and olive oil, all work well for skin improvements. Lots of water, and I never used any skin products, but I’m told I have extremely good skin, especially at my oldcel age.

Raw dairy is interesting, babies who drink raw breast milk are known for great skin. Nobody questions this one, but somehow we don’t apply this to adults. Same with raw meat, dog and cat owners who show their pets at competitions, know the trick, they feed their pet raw meat for better fur, teeth, and less shedding, and better smell. But somehow we don’t do it ourselves. Are we not animals?
