IMDB phucked up when they closed their message board

SRS I only checked this website to follow movie related discussions. Usually they were very interesting topics regarding details a viewer might have missed.

IMDB flopped hard with removing the discussion boards. Never touched this website again ever since

When did they disband the message boards? Most of the forums I cared about were gone before the mid-2010's even arrived.

The boards told the truth about movies and actors.

When Amazon bought IMDb they got rid of the boards so they could control the narrative with manipulated scores and “expert opinions.”

Although I’ll say IMDb score is still fairly reliable to determine if a movie is watchable or not

LetterboxD is probably the most reliable out there right now
