Two of the gheyest mid 2000's radio bands

Good charlotte
Panic at the disco

I deserve a medal for not roping, after years of tolerating that crap at my workplace, at the time.

I am very glad to report I havent even accidentally heard those bands in many years. Maybe the retards in radio finally realised how schytt they were.

Green day is still no1 for gheyest radio band though. Red hot chilli peppers rank somewhere among those already mentioned.

Anyone else been in unavoidable and long term situations where you couldn't stand normie/NPC culture? How did it go?

Glad some others realise how ghey these bands were.

No comment on how you handled long term situations where you had to accept this stuff as good music? In the workplace etc.

Lol what. The hook on that song was insane. That's what it's known for. It's still better than anything on the radio nowadays srs.

Fallout Boy was THE gayest

Panic!attheDisco is up there though.

The pop-punk bands like good charlotte, Sum 41, and My Chemical Romance were and are still fun to listen to.

Green Day is gayer than them all but I'd call them a 90's band

Panic @ the disco & Good Charlotte are legends

Compared to anything on the radio today music from the 00's was a GodSend

Green Day I can't stand & yes they're a 90's band

Boulevard of Broken Dreams still holds the record for the longest #1 spot ever, their only decent song IMO

A song that held #1 for ages and actually deserved it was the Bryan Adams Robin Hood song.

Panic at the Disco was the first thought that came to mind when I saw the thread title lmao. Good Charolette is definitely up there as well haha

Fall Out Boy was arguably the worst. Lmao at their balding singer switching from fat and balding with constant has in the mid-2000's to hair transplant and thin in like 2011, then he's back to fat and balding with hats the failing hair transplant.

I could never get into GreenDay's vocals or sound

"American Idiot" still makes me cringe

Green Day had an alright run. Dookie was a good album (although 90s).

But yeah I went back and listened to them a couple months ago and was cringing HARD. I can’t believe I used to be a fan lmao.

You’re absolutely right. The music back then was full of life and the feeling that the future was gonna be great, positive and unique. Kids could belong to one of many subcultures and everyone was just themselves. I was a skater who liked punk but we were friends with everyone, from the goths, jocks to the wannabe Eminem’s. it changed in 2012 (ded Fukn srs) it’s painful to think what they’ve taken from us.
