I about pissed myself when they wheeled me into the surgery room where my procedure was done, but as soon as the meds kicked in I just closed my eyes and let them do their thing.

They let my gf shave me up which surprised me other than that it was business ad usual…they knocked me out and then woke up fine

Gotcha...I thought Afib was a catch all for irregular heartbeats like ectopic etc.

A-flutter

Pretty much my heart was beating to its own drum…not rhythmic and causing it to try too hard. It was on overdrive, now it can finally calm down

I was getting tired, light-headed, and almost blacking out when working out and sometimes just doing something minimal

I have been to ER twice with it. One time was at 220 bpm. At 42 with no associated problems. Both times within a month after my Vax shot. They put me in the hospital for 3 days and ran every test and imaging on me and found nothing to explain why a healthy 42 year old would have AFIB w/ RVR. Said stress and mild sleep apnea as diagnosis. I was going through a divorce after finding out my wife was cheating so maybe....

Needless to say that was the one and only Vax shot I got. It's slowly gone away from having it an hour or two at a time every couple days then and now I don't have anything more than a 5 second palpitation maybe once a week and haven't had anything more than 10 or 15 seconds in months.

Cardiologists hate him!

They gave me fentanyl (quite common in cath labs) and about 18 hours after the surgery I started to sweat and vomit for the next couple of days. It was like a mild version of what withdrawal looks like in movies.
Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

The only dangerous thing about an exercise is the person doing it.

They had the technology to rebuild me. They made me better, stronger, faster......

I don't know what they gave me but was awake the whole time (you have to be). I could feel just about everything they did but the only painful part was when they were putting a ton of pressure on my thigh during the removal process.

holy sheit I have no idea what they gave me, all I remember is that I couldn't breath for a few secs and the lights went out.

In a flutter your atrium beats at a different rate than your ventricles. Basically an erratic electrical signal to your atrium and another to your ventricle. They map the signal and burn it off. Was in a ton of these, and the software it’s legit. Glad everything went well.
