Yanks are to blame for the absolute state of James Bond

License to Kill. Not top tier but it’s half decent with some good character actors and no cgi..

But noooo you yanks didn’t like it, you had to have Brosnan and a load of cgi crap. All downhill from there woke nonsense and illogical plotting. And every single one takes itself so seriously where’s the fun, where’s the cliffhangers, where are the stunts done by actual stuntmen.

You fukd with Bond, you’ve gone too far. Bring back Roger

My opinion, it all died when Brosnan grabbed a bell instead of falling and goes "saved by the bell"

I remember my dad going "don't say it don't say it!" While bond was recovering, then he said it and my dad goes "aaaaah dammit."

That, for me, was the death of James bond

Goldeneye was good.
Casino royale was pretty good.

But idk after that it went downhill.

Especially the bad guys.
The last 3 while great actors they basically played some kind of incell character.

I'm sorry to inform, you are complaining to the wrong country. Hollywood is located in California, also known as the Republic of California. They are a separate country now. You'll have to take your Bond concerns to the Republic governor Gavin Newsom. If you hope to speak with him I might off a tip, offer him lots of bread. Best of luck. The Brosnan Bond films really killed the spirit with the CGI overload and dumb as f ck plotting.



Seems like you shouldn't be able to mess up Bond, but we've had like one good one in the last like ten (Casino Royale).

Not wrong I haven’t really paid any attention to it since the utterly stupid plane skydive thing in goldeneye.

Thing is, that could have actually be done.. not in one take, but a skydiver could have caught up with a plane and entered it.. but no, let’s just green screen it no one will know..

Roger Moore ones all had nonsensical plots. That's why they were so easy to spoof with Austin Powers. It really wasn't much of a spoof.

If anyone is to blame for more serious James Bond it's Mike Myers showing how dumb the originals were and how much better they were with a little humor. So they had to cut the nonsense and go realistic.
