Inner city crime is at near-all time highs (still quite a bit lower than the early 90s) however crime throughout the rest of the country has been gradually declining for a while. The average American is more mellow. We don’t really have tons of bank robbers, serial killers, etc. anymore.

Convictions are lower than the last couple of years were, the lowest in 5 years. Crimes are simply not being prosecuted and they're being reclassified. Violence is barely below 2020 levels.

Actually prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law and no more letting violent offenders out after 1/2 of their sentencing.

Execute criminals that severely injure/kill civilians.

Why aren't Republicans doing this right now then? It's like all they do is sit and complain (usually about duh librulz) instead of working on solutions.

In 2020, when crime was going through the roof, Trump's "response" was to Tweet "LAW AND ORDER!!!!!111" every hour. Can you see why I am a little skeptical of Republican "solutions?"

I will give Trump credit on one thing - he started executing people but he took too long IMO. Only started to do so during his final year but he managed to fry quite a few of them anyway. All in all I'd like to see states start executing people more.
