Yeah, it was a big story-obviously it wasn't going to get much coverage during Covid & while it is in litigation-as Boeing can't really comment. There have been documentaries on them & other airlines with whistleblowers talking about this stuff going back decades & they are all still alive. Dude clearly couldn't take any more cross examination-likely in part because he was going to be exposed as not telling the whole truth.

I mean doors flying off in mid flight, fuselage getting ripped off & things being sucked out due to depressurization, cracked windows, losing wheels, fires, oxygen leaks on a plane Blinken was going to be on etc being the top news stories is as bad publicity as it gets for them-far more than anything this guy or anybody else has been saying this century.
