I recall an incel thread or three where some long-standing incels and FA loners finally did post pictures of themselves and a lot of them had at least some glaring flaw in their looks -- and it was all something they could control. One guy had some bad acne, one guy couldn't dress, and on and on.

I think the main takeaway is that a lot of FA guys and incels either don't give a fuk enough to put in the effort and make the changes OR there is the slight possibility they never had a guy in their corner giving them genuine advice.
