Guy tries to pull open emergency exit door on plane, mid-flight.





JFC. Why would someone do this? I can't imagine how fckin scary that would be if I was on a flight and some loony tried to unalive himself and take everyone on the plane with him. Even though I am pretty sure it's impossible to open these doors mid-flight.


Hopefully he gets banned for life from air travel and charged with something heavy.

He knew the door wouldnt open due to the cabin pressurization. Not everyone does though so it seems way scarier than it really is.

I am convinced these people are all paid actors.

he would have to not only be crazy but be in the emergency aisle. Sure, you can buy those seats but now we are getting into a lot of planning for someone who is just crazy.

I'm not so sure. There is more pressure inside the plane than outside at cruising altitude, and that emergency exit door opens outwards not inwards, so the air pressure wouldn't keep it closed. Video of the door operation:
