Why aren't hot people Non-Binary?

Whenever you see non-binary people, it's never a Stacy with a massive cake and tatas or a big hulking dude. It's always people who look like this

It makes you think: Is non-binary just a way for these people to come to terms with being ugly, or not satisfied with themselves? It's a good out, because they get sympathy and a modicum of respect for being something, just not hot.

Because people who meet the typical beauty standards are treated better by society from a very young age.

They are given non stop validation and positive reinforcement that they are valuable as a person all throughout their cognitive development.

The non binary types you see are unattractive people who have developed mental illness, low self esteem, low self respect etc due to the fact they have not been given much validation or positive reinforcement as a person in those same development stages.

Our society NOW places more value on good looks than ever before so this has only increased this gulf.

It's not hard to work out.

It makes sense when you think about it.

Someone very masculine like you described is going to have no problem associating with being male. Likewise, a woman who develops well with nice "assets" isn't going to suffer from any cognitive dissonance that she's a woman.

It's the people who sit somewhere in the middle and could kind of go either way. The weakling man who has very feminine traits or the ugly girl far from the ideal standard of woman's beauty.... these are the one's who will suffer from some dissonance whether they are truly the gender they where born as. You have much greater odds of dissonance occurring.

It's probably not so much of a coping as it is just a mental breakdown of being further removed from what their gender says they should be.
