Well I can definitely raise glass to that. And don't get me wrong...i realize we're far from being perfect but as close to it as any other country is imo...my only issue..the only thing that upsets me is when I hear younger people complain about how bad things are..I don't ever say a word but there's a reason why people in other less privileged countries never trouble themselves with being depressed or having eating disorders..they simply can't afford to. So as bad as it might seem, I'm very content being somewhere I actually have the time to complain about my first world issues lol.

I'm mainly upset by the way things are going. I see poverty growing. I see the inequality out of control. I see our leaders waging wars, voiding treaties, and generally carrying themselves antagonistically toward other countries. I see our leaders bickering. I see our people bickering. I see them becoming less educated and less interested in math and science. This is the first generation in a long time whose lives will be worse than their parents'. If humanity is to survive, things must change.

I would like to see that but I'm more of a realist...I honestly only see things getting worse. I do applaud how you genuinely want things to get better but I personally don't think we are what was intended...and I do honestly feel that we will be the bane to our own existence. That's where my Nhilist tendencies come out. I abide by social Darwinism so if we choose to continue our mistakes then we deserve every bit of the consequences. But for now, I don't trouble myself with all the issues or trying to make a difference. I just live my own life and enjoy having food on my plate and a roof over my head. Something most people in the world don't have.

Okay? Marxist infighting isn't a bad thing
