How long did you lurk the misc before you signed up?

it was 3 years for me. I was always scared to register because everyone made fun of people with newer join dates

Funnily enough I think it was a similar-ish time frame to me, maybe slightly shorter or longer.

I registered in 2013 but I feel like I was checking the misc pre-2010.

Right away . I googled gym bars or something and it brought me to BB.com . I’ve gotten some great ideas from the Misc , and stayed for the lols . I consider the Misc my family now , it’s not much,but I’ll take it lol .

Prior to the Misc I was unaware . I had no idea about MAGS or Hog legs etc . Using Store Wall was a great suggestion for organizing to





The plate storage rack was my idea . Used 1” floor flanges with gas pipe

I was on a couple of other forums from 1999-2001 (Anabolex, Elite Fitness, Animal Kits, IBCOF, etc.), and I signed up here a few months after it first opened.

Some people mistakenly think the BB.com forums opened way earlier than they did. But the first BB.com forums opened up in late 2001. I joined in February 2002.

The Misc opened a couple years after that.

Back in the day the big misc I call it was sort of brutal. Still funny though.

If you made a thread it would be on like page 10 before you had a chance to finish hitting post thread almost.

Started lurking in 2010. The misc was hilarious, but was intimidating as fuk for someone not used to such raw antics on a forum. I felt misc would eat my ass alive just like that meme.

A few months. I joined in 09 but didn’t know much about misc until 2015. Most of my classes that year had computers and I would browse in class.

Started lurking around 15 years ago. got an account maybe 5 or 7 years ago and got banned for being accused of being an alt. only took a week or less to get banned. decided id try again a few years ago
