The law she is using against Trump and crew has never been applied in the way they are attempted. Aka standard lawfare. She hired her unqualified boyfriend and paid him $100 more per hour than true experts on the case. At times, he was billing 24 hours per day, while others on the case were billing in 15 minute increments. He pocketed over 720K. She approved of his billing and he took her all over the world on that $$$. She alleged that she paid him back in cash, but cannot show any proof that this cash ever existed. Neither could he. NO bank records, ATM records, etc.

They had a motivation to pursue the case because they made a ton of $$$ in keeping it going. And she proved here that she is willing to lie under oath and has zero ethical boundaries. Definitely someone that will uphold the law honestly...

But hey, clown world is fine as long as Trump is facing charges, amirite?
Correct. Her personal eithical issues have nothing to do with the case against the orange moron. She and the defense will present evidence and a jury will decide. How much she paid her boyfriend has ZERO to do with what she presents in court boyo.

Y'all are really really scared of Trump seeing a courtroom for this cause y'all know he's guilty and phuked.

Love this for you.

She's a corrupt fraud who manipulated this prosecution for her own personal and financial gain, then she committed perjury to cover it up.How can you trust anything she puts forward?

I made this argument also, facts are facts no matter who she fks on her off time.
Either the evidence shows guilt or innocence, otherwise the judge would have bounced her.
She showed poor judgement, but that doesn't invalidate evidence.

She lied under oath and tampered with witnesses during her own hearing… you think what she says in court about some vs Rico narratuve is going to be truthful? Gtfo.

Answer this- if the case is so rock solid, and she has clear conflicts, why can’t it be passed on to another jurisdiction? Why MUST fani be the one to try the case in a 73% dem district?

I think we all know the answer. If this was passed onto another jurisdiction, it’s unlikely they would even move forward with it. It’s all nonsense.

Keep writing paragraphs full of tears, bro.

I'm sure that is going the change Fani coming down on Drumpf.

Yea, just like Fani was going to get removed from the case, Drumpf would never get indicted, and Jack Smith wouldn't come down with the hammer.

None. I'm not a lawyer. My opinion is that both Fani and Wade should have been removed (and charged for perjury/further investigated) and the case should be sent to another county. They can decide if it is something worth pursuing or not.

I think it's less likely- not completely no- that the appellate court takes it.

That being said - I also think it's in Trump's best interest that Fanni Willis, and Fulton county, stay as the prosecutorial team on this case.

It would've even been better if Wade had stayed, she might hire a legit outside council now.

This team as full of errors - that will likely result in a loss, mistrial, or easy appeal. We don't need a legit prosecutor actually take it if they decide to keep it at trail.

Just look at all the errors they made in their charges that were dropped this weak- and more to come...

Same team over on the other Rico case in trial right now/ accidentally presenting evidence in court that belong to another trial, mistake written briefs, bad charges, etc.

Fulton county DA office is horrid.

Look at this exchange a few days ago in the other Rico case

Delay is indeed a strategy/ If he wins all of Jacks smiths stuff is DOA - fl is likely DOA anyway.

The Georgia trial is actually Trumps biggest potential problem/ can't pardon it / can't have it dropped if he wins - etc / Dealing with this with Fanni in charge is the best way

A GA trial verdict before election isn't really a thing anymore.

This is all pre-trial appeal anyway / team Trump will be best result with Fanni in charge and post trial appeal (if convicted)

Really a shame Trump doesn't have any electoral path to victory.

He wasn't looking too good when I was out watching the last UFC ppv.

Smith is taking a toll on him for sure.

Smith has been largely irrelevant so far- and not really going to be a big issue at the end of the day.

The civil trials are trumps bigger, nuisance

Judge granted permission to appeal today

Here is how this works
"So, let's talk about the Georgia Court of Appeals. Now that Judge McAfee has granted the certificate of immediate review for the disqualification of Fani Willis, what's the process? The application for an interlocutory appeal will be randomly assigned to a judge. From there...
it will be assigned to a staff attorney who will review the application and any supporting materials. That attorney will provide a memo providing a recommendation to the judge on whether the appeal should be granted or denied. The court has 45 days to act, so decisions are quick.
Court of Appeals Rule 30(a) provides factors that favor review. The most important one here will be whether there is a need to establish clear precedent to refine and guide the trial court. Defendants will have to argue that precedent is insufficient *and* this is a good vehicle.

The other key is this: is there *reversible error*? Even if there might be a need for some clarification around the law, the COA may not necessarily see the need to step in and reverse Judge McAfee if they think he essentially got it right. That may be the biggest hurdle for Ds.
Appeals are heard by a three-judge panel. Only one judge on a panel needs to agree to hear the appeal. All three are thus required to agree to deny it.
