I have spent time in Cyprus which is similar to Greece. And actually a better option for gaining citizenship €300k but citizenship in 5 years no need to learn Greek and very favourable non-dom tax regime.

In Cyprus if you're non-dom there is no income tax on overseas income, no capital gains on overseas holdings, no wealth tax, no inheritance tax. You can claim this for 17 years.

We are basically just smarter, weaker less hairy primates. We have the same instincts for the most part.
