Anyone here better off bald? I'm a thinning Norwood 3a and fear shaving it off

Do miscers here have any stories of success after shaving off their hair? How has life gone since ?

Is there any filters I can use on myself to see how I'll look bald, which will accurately show my bald head shape ?

Ive been browsing r/bald and it's rough

The topic would come up and every one of them agreed the shaved bald head is something they liked. Even if they could tell by the stubble that you are balding or have the horseshoe thing going, they didnt care as the shaved bald head trumped all of that.

100% of the women thought this way.

On a similar topic, being fat was not a disqualifying factor for any of them so killing yourself in the gym is really not something they think is that great.

I have no idea if you will have any success bald. I don't have enough dating and life experience to comment on that.

What I can say is your hair will still look like chit even if you start medication. The key is to start early and preemptively. If you want to save your hair at this point you need to hop on fin (and maybe min), hope you are stable on the drug, and then book a flight to Turkey 1 year from now for a hair transplant. In the meantime you can shave and see how you like it.

I ended up with a bad hairline and bald spot by the time I was 26, so I just decided to call it and start shaving my head. This was almost 12 years ago.

Honestly I didn't really notice much of a difference, I still get attention and even cold approached at almost the same rate. I guess it helps to be tall, clean cut and in good shape. Most guys my age are overweight and have unkept beards.

Why bother with all this unproven bullchit. Just take the FDA approved medication for hair loss. If that's too much, you could still microdose finasteride and apply it topically. Some studies show this can stop hair loss and prevent it going systemic.
