Imagine how sad it must be to be a zoomer

Missed out on every good era and movement, grew up with smartphones and social media from a young age, never knew the pre-digital world, never got to experience the internet before web 2.0, never got to experience any music, movies, or video games when they were coming out with great new stuff, grew up with leftist and LGBTQ+ propaganda everywhere and pushed on them in schools, all the girls are rainbow hair feminists, list goes on.

No wonder they're such a mess.

Do you remember when knowledge of Mortal Kombat fatalities was a rare and preciously traded commodity? The internet has made it obsolete, but I remember when kids had sheets with things like <-<-->-> A B B A written on it and would trade the knowledge for stuff, lol.


I remember at the Finish Him! screen, punching in the combo and the screen goes dark. It was a sign you did it properly and now it was time to witness the gory fatality (but nothing compared to how brutal MK fatalities are now)

Imagine having social media influencer being your goal and aspiration in life. Like imagine trying to explain what you spent your life doing to people when you're old and everyone has long moved on. Like what are they going to do? Brag about all the followers they had on some long gone social media service? Just seems like the biggest waste of life, it's what people do when they are incapable of doing anything of depth or value.

Brings me back to the days of buying video game codes magazines at the grocery store so I could look up the codes and combinations. What we had to do before we had ease of access to the internet.

Funny you mention this because gaming in general has suffered enormously. Someone solves the game a day after it comes out and everyone just copies them now. It kills the sense of wonder and exploration in multiplayer games. The community hivemind also demands you copy the best to keep up. I've seen many different game genres ruined by this.

Yeah I can relate to that as well. Millennials have always sucked for the most part, so many of them just have chitty personalities for some reason. Boomers tend to be fun to talk to, same with Gen Xers, don't talk to many zoomers but I bet some of the dudes at least would be more chill than millennials.
