Live is ultimately pointless

Someone could literally give me a 100 million dollars no strings attached and I'd be like meh whatever

Would probably just save it and spend it little by little over a long period of time for the basic stuff I already buy...so not much difference than not even having it

I'm like that with most things

Nothing impresses me

A guy who I graduated HS with won an Olympic gold medal and now he's coaching at a junior college...so it's like what was the point of all that hard work when in the end he's just a coach at some nothing place

Another one started up a company, became a multimillionaire, and died a few years later...so again...what was the point of all that hard work when guys who achieved nothing are still around and he's all gone

I want nothing to do with most people so relationships aren't a motivator either

Basically just going through the motions

You sound like the people at school or uni who say that it's pointless just because they suck at studying and taking instructions.

You have to think that you have a purpose in life.

But I remember thinking of this when my former trainer said that, "most people eat for taste and not for what's good for the body" and she ended up dying in a car accident at 39, so what was the point of eating all of that chicken and broccoli??

Life is inherently pointless. You can create w/e meaning you want out of it. I dont see how you can not find life amusing after realizing this. Unless you're held back by depression or something, in which case you're letting fear rule you and need to get that sorted out first
