The world is going to be a lot more ugly due to changing demographics. People will be less free and more controlled as well due to advances in Technology.

I have hope for the future, srs. Need some paradigm shifts to come though, and they will. People focus too much on the doomer post apocalyptic futures, mostly because those ideas and stories are more interesting. But it's not a fair balance, people need to start thinking about the brighter sides more. Easy to get sucked into a negative mindset in the early-mid 2020's, I'm sure history will associate increased depression for the current time period with COVID and economic issues. But things will improve.
