marriage is voluntary castration. change my mind

>invite the government into your personal life
>confines you to one sloot (for the REST of your LIFE)
>prevents enjoyment of new pus
>1001 ways for you to get divorce-repped (including, but not limited to, wanting fresh sloots)

it's basically entering into a bad one-sided deal
and giving a third party a gun to shoot you if you try to leave it

Nah married people are wildly more succesful socially and financially. As for getting new pus, if you don't plan on ever getting married then by all means keep rotating low tiered new puss in and out.

Meh it’s like anything - a job, a mortgage, having kids.

It is simultaneously the best or worst decision you can make depending on who you are and whether you choose well.

Unfortunately, you don’t really know which until after it’s already done.

You wont see wild stallions out on the prairies voluntarily walking into the farmers corral to be saddled and ridden around all day.

That have to be "broken" first in order to act the way they say they are supposed to act.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

i can buy that two people working together toward common goals will work well. thing is most dudes just think with their little heads and just try to marry the "hottest" girl they can get and then try to make a life altering thing work.

Whether marriage is worth it or not depends on finding the right person and even then work will be required to maintain a strong marriage, namely communication and trust. I am happily married for the past 23 years. We gave; we took; we shared; we laughed; we cried; through all the ups and downs, we did it together. She is my safe harbor and I am hers.I know that at the end of the day or time, she will be there for me and I will be there for her.

I like the idea of marriage, but I don't think it works anymore in current society. Just a way for women to **** men over.

Been an adult for about 10 years. 80% of that time I felt as extreme as the OP, to the point of "knowing I never want to marry." But some good women out there have very enticing and consistently great personalities, srs. They're few and far between in USA srs, but they exist.

No matter what though, I ain't marrying a loser. AKA a 6-7/10 who just stays at home and brings home less than $30k, if anything at all. A career is a legitimate requirement for me, as well as a winning personality, and 6+/10 looks. Otherwise what's the point?

If you marry someone who makes/possesses little cash, you're setting yourself up for increased CoL... tens of thousands to throw on a wedding and the formalities... and setting yourself up for a position of "if she changes her mind at any point later, she gets half your net worth."

I might have agreed in the past but I've found a decent girl that has made me reconsider that logic. Furthermore, as mentioned previously married people drastically out-perform single people in terms of income/wealth/life-style. Been with my girl 5 years now and we've never had an argument or disagreement. I make literally all of the household/financial decisions and what I say goes.

I think most men are never really the master of their own life and of their own house so they get cucked when they get in a relationship & married. Control your house-hold. Control the finances. If you can't afford a house-hold without a 'team-mate' GL controlling the relationship. Regardless of what they say women do not respect weak men.

Current culture and laws have poisoned marriage.

i do wonder how much those "outperform" statistics factor in people that are 45-80+ and met someone/married when it was a different world out there.
