Once you've been unplugged to the leftist narrative, it's impossible not to catch all the woke bs installed in movies and TV shows. And it's not all in your face obvious, it's supposed to be subtle.

I see liberals being obsessed with race, gender and identity, always trying to force their ideals into everything, with conservatives generally being the only people to have to balls to call them out on their blatant pandering.

Whites having a major presence in western media was always like asians having a major presence in asian media. It's a core national demographic thing, when over 90% of the people in Japan are asian, most Japanese media is going to feature 90+% asians.

Western media has basically been overcompensating, going overboard on trying to represent women and every minority demographic with an unnatural presentation. It's also the type of thing where people were more willing to ignore or excuse it before it become so dominant in new media, now a lot of people are simply sick and tired of it.
