Dudes a lunatic and his teams were boring to watch. Recent article on espn showed how badly he treated Swienstieger at United for absolutely no reason.

I think at this point he’s a better fit as a national team coach tactically, but he also hates to play young players so that probably doesn’t work

Him winning chit tier cups with teams who are the favourite isn't that impressive. He got cucked hard by Barca as well but you'll probably find one prize he won and call it a success.

Winning a EL with United and conference with Roma is nothing special compared to winning Champions Leagues and dominating the PL.

Roma are in 5th nearly 30 points back from first and finished last season 6th in Serie A, all with traditional power Juve in the dumps.

Not exactly impressive

I didn't even mention his time at Real, probably the least of all his jobs if you look at the quality and results but he just had to compete with the arguably best team in the world at the time

and if you really believe winning anything with THAT ManU or Roma is nothing special I don't even know what to say

+ he also reached the EL final with Roma, didn't win but still impressive

and to win ANYTHING with Tottenham you need to be a literal wizard lmfao, can't hold that against him

and of course he peaked with Porto, Inter and Chelsea (in that order)

but you said he was washed and hasn't been good in years and I beg to differ

you honestly feel Guardiola winning the CL with City is a bigger achievement than those 2 finals with Roma?

he's not a miracle worker brah, can you honestly say he should've been a title contender with that material?

there's the 2 Milans, Juve, Napoli, ... all more quality

Yes winning the treble with one of the best teams in the world is obviously bigger than just winning a conference with the favourite team in the entire competition.

Maybe the best teams hire the best coaches and there's some correlation there. Ever think about that buddy?

To answer to your other posts, maybe Ancelotti and Pep are up there. Ancelotti has league wins in 5 different countries and 4 champions leagues to his name.

Van Gaal has some great achievements too but maybe not as consistent. His eredivisie win with AZ is probably more impressive than anything Mourinho has done in his career.

Ancelotti also up there, Van Gaal as well obviously

Guardiola not even close

strange how you seem to devalue Mourinho's achievements tbh, he won the CL with Porto and Inter - let that sink in

The bunker ball kind of depends on the context imo. When Greece does it during a euro cup or Inter against Barca and Bayern in the CL is makes sense.

Doing it with Real Madrid was a complete embarrassment though. Imagine if Brazil would play like that during a world cup. With some teams you just don't do that chit.

I've clearly stated I value his achievements with Porto and Inter, I devalue the few he's had after that. What you're doing is completely devaluing Pep's achievements because of the teams he worked with. He obviously wasn't going up against scrubs either.

Yeah this was kind of my point. Playing bunker ball at United when playing the likes of Crystal palace shows me a manager that’s too rigid or who hasn’t evolved

That's 2-1 against belgbrah for Mourinho being washed now.

I honestly feel like his period at Real kinda destroyed him.
