Cats fkkn destroyed our box spring. Wife is mad. (Pic)

We heard a catinsideour bed while banging last night. Got under the bed to see what was going on. This is what we discovered. Fkkn lmao. Wife insists we need a new one now.

We've got a latex hybrid mattress. Tried memory foam and it was just too damn hot. Maybe I should ditch the box spring for a platform frame though.

I've seen those also and i certainly would consider that route.
Any way to ditch all the mattress/box spring bulk is quite preferable.

No shvt?....I don't notice the heat factor you mention.

Considering the fabric on the bottom of the box spring is about as thick as tissue paper, surprised it doesn't look worse. Besides, it's facing the ground, who cares. If you're really worried about it, get a stable gun and some fabric and redo it.
