IQ is the most predictive type of test in all of psychometrics and psychology

It is a valid and reliable measure of g, or general intelligence, depending on the test

A legit IQ test would be one that is valid, backed by scientific study and has high g-loading, ie intercorrelation with other tests

That's what i've gathered from a quick google search

it has been demonstrated that intellectual performance IRL wildly differ from IQ number, based on other factors.

Simple fact, same test taken more than once improves the IQ score. Has that person developed higher intelligence in a brief period between tests?

Scoring well on these does correlate to better careers, less prison etc.

Only way to get a legit IQ test is by an actual psychologist. It will take around 4 hours and is usually 1 on 1. Will cost around 400-500.

I don't get it. If you want to know your IQ so badly, call your local university/college's psychology department and see if they offer one. Sure it costs a lot but if you are that curious, the $500 or so you pay will likely not be life changing in terms of finances. Not sure why these people do all the online stuff.
