Should antisemitic speech be protected under the first amendment?

With all this madness going on in college campuses lately, I feel like the US has let free speech go a little too far now. I’m all for the first amendment but the rampant antisemitism is really just beyond the pale if you ask me.

Do you guys think the 1st amendment should add an antisemitism exception or how would you prefer the US address this?

Antisemitism is hostility or prejudice toward the Jewish people. Recently in America you ask? Look at any college campus bud, it’s literally unsafe for us to attend class (Columbia cancelled classes) or enjoy Passover in peace. All I’m asking is for Americans to think about us and do their part to fight this

There are some factions and ideologies which just seem to make themselve impervious to civil and reasoned argument. It doesn't matter how respectfully you present argumentation and evidence, they won't respect you and just spew their hateful views and demand to be accepted as true.

That sounds extreme, but Nazis are willing to do the same, and they have an ideology which is centred on the forcible killing of innocent people.


There's an idea called the paradox of tolerance. It suggests some ideas are so toxic and hateful that tolerating them reduces the amount of tolerance, because enough people will buy into this idea, then they take power and kill those who tolerated them in the first place.


You can't treat Nazism as an alternative ideology. It's a threat to many innocent people. Nazism never ends in simple speech. It's an intrinsically violent ideology which necessitates violence as its end goal. A non-violent Nazi is an oxymoron. So don't give them a platform.

Nearly every left wing college organization has been created/funded or lead by mostly Jewish students.

They are at the forefront of BLM/Anti-Police/Anti-America/Anti-white organizations/policies. if they could they would kick out all students with a pro-Trump sign/hat, etc., especially the professors.

Leftist jews have help create the current hate culture on college campuses, it was just never meant to be used as a weapon against...you.

Any form of hate speech should be protected by the 1st amendment. Some forms of hate speech are obvious but others are more subjective, and therefore is too much of a grey area to be regulated by a central government. When that hate speech foments into violence against a group, then of course the act of violence is illegal, and should be.

If we want to see a decrease in any form of hate we need to fight the color revolution underway in this country and promote education of true American ideals and strong families.
