My god this is insane. Literal insanity. Ukraine will never defeat Russia. This entire war is pointless. Unless.....you realize it isn't about land and territory. Ukraine could return the land that is rightfully Russia's and it would not make a difference.

This is a grift. A money making grift for the MiC and govt people in the US and Ukraine. Meanwhile millions of people and animals are dying for this grift.

It's not about money, even though many stand to profit off this. It's to weaken Russia's military and kill Russian soldiers. It's the continuation of a cold war. It is because of a fundamental disagreement on the vision for a world order and the role of the great powers that comprise it. In very abstract terms, it is about whether America will continue its liberal hegemony or not.

They could send every cent the US has, and it still wouldn't help Ukrainian manpower. They can't buy more Ukrainian men to send out to the battlefield.

It's really not. It's looking like a pretty grim financial prospect for all parties. What good is Zelensky's money when he can't spend it on anything lol? Nearly 100% of Ukraine's government spending is now going to defense. Things are pretty bleak over there. It's not like the Ukrainian government is living the high life right now. The entire "It's all money laundering" hypothesis is an extremely childish, basic, and typical American way of trying to understand international relations. Of course there is corruption, but the bulk of the aid is in weapons packages that will be directly used in war.
