Mr. ****** CEO is taking home aRECORD $226 Millionin compensation for the year.

But it's not enough!!

To further reduce costs and maximize profits:

Google is laying off more staff this week, and some roles are being relocated.
Employees working in finance and real estate have been targeted.
Google has been trimming head count continuously throughout the year.

Bottom line for all of these companies is the fact that the purchasing power still is controlled by people. Lay too many of them off the trickle down effect is no buying and that results in loss of sales. Unfortunately businesses today only look ahead to the next quarterly report rather than planning out 5, 10, 20 years or more. If they did their planning they would see that this is all self defeating.

I think because AI has started its self replicating process. There is probably far more intelligent AI out than what the public sector has access to. The rich is going to hoard it and just use it to further increase their profit and power. Don't be surprised if you start seeing lots of layoffs like this in mega corps.

They hire H1Bs for $20-30 an hour less than Americans yet no one seems to talk about that: Its only the border immigrants.
