Any kind of support works.

I'd really just recommend letting it heal and not using it until then.

I don't want to take much time off if I can help it.

Wrist wraps ^^^
Usually it’s your wrist pulling at the tendons in your elbow in my experience

Rest it. Work around it, don't do things that stress it. Listen to your body. Again, workaroundit, not through it. Very srs

I had this last year, and you just gotta avoid working it for like 2 months and it goes away.

Fuking sucks though, but if you plan your workouts it ends up not being a complete dealkiller.

I can get away with neutral grip pull ups without much trouble. So I'll stick with those for awhile.

Whatever you can do that doesn't cause pain is totally fine. Anything that does cause pain, make an adjustment untilbit heals. Tennis elbow is one of those bastards of injuries that can take 2 - 3 months to heal sometimes. Anything that causes pain in any way to it only helps reset the healing clock and increase risk of worsening it. I know it sucks to have to make any adjustments over it, but believe me when I say that trying to push through it is bad idea. Learned that lesson the hard way myself, man

Yeah, thanks. I can't really tell if its tennis elbow or what because it kinda hurts everywhere around the elbow. Luckily its not too bad, so hopefully it goes away asap.

You'll 'lose more gains' by working out with it. Then letting it heal and working out like normal. You'll basically make it take longer to heal. And will be working out in a sub-par manner.

My advice would be just do cardio, abs, and use machines on legs/calves and fine tune them and let your elbow/upper body rest. You won't lose much (if any) muscle mass. And you can trim down and cut fat or fine tune your legs.

Even if you lose muscle mass within a couple of weeks you'll get it back once you heal.

I actually healed my elbow tendonitis while continuing to workout 4x per week. You just need to avoid direct exercises that impact your elbow. Although it's annoying as fuk, it's not a dealkiller of any kind. You just need to be mindful for a couple months and it magically goes away.

Dude that I worked that played for the Dallas Cowboys O-line told me rub Flex-all 454 on my elbow, and wear a neoprene elbow sleeve.

One was to help avoid getting that problem is to put the bar your grabbing deeper into the palm of your hand. Away from the base of your fingers. You’ll get more callouses but who cares.

work your forearms more, will help stabilize the elbow joint. most elbow pain comes from a strength imbalance in the forearm.

I’ve been rubbing Icy Hot in. Works all the time for me when it flares up.

Epicondylitis (i.e. lateral "tennis elbow" or medial "golfers elbow") is easy to diagnose. Hold your arm out straight with your palm down. You elbow bone knob will be pointing straight out and there are flat bone ridges both above and below the elbow knob. If you press on the bone above the knob with your other hand and it hurts like chit, that's tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis). If you press on the bone below the knob and it hurts like chit, it's golfers elbow (medial epicondylitis). If neither are super tender like that, it's some other problem.

The only thing that worked for me to fix this was PRP.

don't get a product to "support it" then use the fuk out of it, you WILL NEVER get better.. (try not to self diagnose yourself, just avoid workouts that trigger your pain)

i fuked up some part of my shoulder/pec area and I couldn't lift my left arm past my chest without extreme pain.

I told myself I will just keep working out chest but do lighter weight or different forms, etc.. basically pushing through the pain..

it was never getting any better 6 months my injury until I actually gave myself 3 months off of chest workouts, now i am 100%

I have it BAD and have been using "Tuff" brand forearm cuffs. I'm also looking into getting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for it.
