still has my respect of course for what he did before that but also for what he did with United and Roma after (agree to disagree)

When the shoot button on your playstation controller gets stuck.
Going back to that topic, there should be a book written about Balotelli. I'd read it. You ever read any biographies from players?

Remember how dominant Balotelli was at that Euro? He looked certain for a decade or scoring for top teams. Amazing how being a headcase made him a chit footballer in only a couple seasons

He's absolutely a top 5 midfielder in the world today. Maybe number one just this season if you look at it in a vacuum. Good call if you did see it coming.

Leicester are going back up boys, promotion clinched! Now it’s just about winning the title.
There are some really good pieces and PL quality on this team especially in attack. Hoping they can pick up some solid players from relegated teams like Chong or Barkley. Top half finish is definitely doable in 2025

It's strange after how such a dip in form they could get a 100 point season. Good players but something is a bit off. I don't follow Leicester really, but I'd be interested to see what the perception of Maresca becomes and if some ideal signings are made.
Thing is though, to sign some ideal players you would need relegation clauses and that could put players off given the points deduction. They would need staying up bonuses to attract and keep good players, and three good players run out their contracts in the summer, right?
I hope the right moves are made, and they need to be made. Otherwise you could just do a Burnley and go right back down the trap door.
EDIT: Me personally, I am cheering for the win over Spurs but dismayed at Forest losing to City. Forest had 4 clear chances and just couldn't finish, I thought they had a shot at winning that game. Had they won, it gives power back to Arsenal to win the rest of the games and take the title.
Now I still worry City will take the title and it will be an entirely soulless victory.
Back off, Warchild.
Seriously.

What you described is unfortunately the reality for teams in the Leicester type of level every season. You’ll never get the Haaland types so you have to find journeyman, guys past their prime, or young players who haven’t quite hit their prime on loan looking for minutes they wouldn’t get on the top teams that own them. LCFC also have guys out on loan in Kristiansen, Soumare, and Thomas that should return and help. I’d be surprised if relegation were a legit concern next year as the season progresses but you just never know.
Feels like a season of destiny for Arsenal. Getting all the calls, bounces, and always finding a play when they need one.

More silverware incoming to Leicester. Even with last year being a cruel reminder of how heartbreaking football can be, this is a great club to be a fan of. Since I’ve started following them I’ve now gotten to enjoy 2 second tier titles, winning the FA cup, and a PL title. Some fan bases don’t get to see that many trophies in a lifetime.
Great day. Bring on the PL and let’s not see if we can’t overachieve and make a run at a European spot in 2025

Well done Ipswich, promotion into the PL after getting promoted up from League One last season. It means all 3 teams that went down last year aren’t coming back up. It could be 2/3 with Southampton and Leeds both in the playoff

How much did you donate Mechelenbrah?
did help out with some of the actions and bought some merch and chit
pretty wild actually looking back, still the only Belgian club where the fans single handedly avoided bankruptcy
nowadays the amounts are tenfold at least so it's virtually impossible to do I feel
edit: last match of that season, when we knew we would be able to start in 3rd division the next season (with -9 points even lmfao)
still one of my best footy memories, was an insane night with my mates
drunk as fuk
good times

These in season point reductions are ridiculous, even for teams I hate like Everton. Time for a new penalty like barring teams from making transfers for a window or not letting them play in cups.

No one was really rooting for Ipswich either, out of the top for 20 odd years and coming up from League 1? With a surprisingly tough EFL season with Leicester, Leeds and Southampton all in the league this season. All the top 6 clubs on dat dere parachute money, except for Ipswich.
Isn't this Mckenna's first managerial stint? What an achievement. Dude can go far.

They were exciting to watch under Bielsa a couple years ago. Kind of like how Brighton plays now, always in attack whether down 3 or up 3

Luck can't be bought. Like to see PSG cucks complain about Dortmund's win, when they're financed by a state and violate every single financial fair play rule.
And the person allowing all of this to happen is on the UEFA ethics committee. I like how PSG and City have been pouring money to tip the scales in their favour but thankfully, luck and chance just can't be bought.
I couldn't stop laughing at how every shot PSG took seemed magnetized towards the woodwork. Denied!

did some searching
if Bayern makes it we MIGHT see a final where both teams starting line-up consists of majority native players (not guaranteed though)
but for chits and giggles: you know last time that happened?
Spoiler!
we need that 6+5 rule back SRS
