Emirates has an excellent historical collection of albums that I listen to whenever I fly their airline.

I don't know if they claim it to be the Top Albums in history, but its a far better list than this.


This Apple list is cucked to make Zoomers happy. Its as if most of the best music was created in the last 25 years - its likely based on recent demographic clicking choices.

The Emirates list was great because it listed albums that changed the game, introduced a new style and created a new trend, etc.

I dunno about mixing hip hop with music like massive attack/portishead. They’re too different to compare and rank against each other. Sort of like making a top 50 list of United States city’s and ice cream flavors.
