100% this. It's an empty superficial topic unless you're actually an investor, banker, or work in some type of finance.

I could see someone like MarinoMike talking about money without thinking he's a douche, because his career is in finance.

Well, a lot more adults are living at home than in the past due to several economic factors.

But that doesn't matter, we're going to be at war anyway. The stage is set, it's only a matter of when SRS.

Yup.

I think this is true, but we also do live under a Kleptocracy in disguise as capitalism.

Your tax dollars are being laundered all day, every day then they gaslight us into thinking we just need to work more. But yeah there are just literal poors and people stuck in bad habits lol.

Heh, I can relate.

When I worked for an HOA, homeowners would always have some excuse as to why they couldn't pay whatever fee or fine that they inflicted on themselves. Meanwhile they would have 2-3 tricked out cars in their driveway, but somehow they were always "behind"...lol sure.

I 100% agree, and that crowd isn't who this applies to. Things are especially hard for a lot of people, but I'm talking about people who aren't really bad off, just stuck in a scarcity mindset. Really having a scarcity mindset can affect the way you approach money and spending overall.

They are more concerned with other's having more. Several reasons. However, someone else having more doesn't mean you'll have less. That's the biggest misconception the left has, that they believe that if the rich had less, they would have more, or they don't have as much because the wealthy are hording it all. In reality if the rich guys didn't have it, nobody would have it, it wouldn't exist.

Another reason is just envy/jealousy or just insecurity where they compare themselves to others constantly.

My personal experience is that wealthy people tend to be more generous and are overall more kind and less judgmental. It's poor people who usually are really judgmental and more greedy/selfish.

Notice the people always whining about it are the same ones driving a new car they cant afford and eating out al the time.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda
