I'm rhythm player/song writer and not a collector so I only own only (3): '77 Ibanez Tele Silver Series - '73 Guild Acoustic D40 Sunburst - '74 Martin copy acoustic (beater)
If I were to round out be my axes I'd get a a semi-hollow ES type.

Don't know what style you play/practice or your skill level but have you considered a semi-hollow to round out your choices since you already have the solid bodies?
Are you playing/writing songs, playing riffs to shred to or the eternal perfect tone search?
Seriously, what would be the benefit of another solid body especially at that price point?

Have you actually written a song, fleshed it out to a finished, recorded product and then try to find (with your 1/2 solid bodies) the tone(s) that works well?
Personally, I care far more about arriving at a finished creative product and keeping concern over minutia where it belongs.

Not saying you shouldn't get another axe, just trying to employ some pragmatism, in this context.

Qualifier: I don't know shvt about pickups, single vs. whatever, humbuckers....I'm clueless on that front.

(I'd guess you're having some hot weather too. Did some geology work in Nevada back in my college major era)

I bought the devil’s strat today.

HSH pickups. I’ll be playing mainly in clean mode I’d say. Ordered online and needs to get through customs so will take a couple of weeks.



Also got a new chorus pedal (Maxon CS-9 Pro Stereo Chorus) and think I’ll stick to this and reverb pedal only.



Also got an Ibanez tubebscreamer delivered today. It’s too hot sounding for me tbh…it was a mistake for the sound I like.

I have a 15 Watt Marshall and a 10 Watt Fender. 95% of the time I use the Marshall. The Marshall is double the size - I just double checked the specs.

I have a modern Jaguar HS and prefer the humbucker through the Fender when using gain.

I’ll put some photos up of my guitars (which is now technically a mini collection) in a couple of weeks once my devils strat arrives.

Initially I wasn’t keen but I played about with the settings and I am going Ibanez Tube Screamer - Maxon CS9 Chorus - a generic reverb pedal. That setup works well for me on my strat neck pickup.

The irony is I bought my other guitars as didn’t like the strat sound but just needed a few pedals lol.

I got those pedals as was used by John Squire on the first Stone Roses album.

My HSH strat will be 3 weeks as needed to be ordered from the US.

nice dude. there was a music shop I went to ages ago that had every boss pedal connected and you could try every one. there's something really cool about individual boxes vs multi fx units.

have you seen this overdrive, it's mad (those knobs get saved and moved into the presets). like a super luxury overdrive pedal
