Always lol when I see the term "vet" and almost instantly realize the person was just a cook and never saw combat or was apart of possible combat.

did you serve like this Navy VET Hero? If so, thank you for your service....if not, then you should RESPECT his sacrifice. I bet it's a HARD life being a cook in the military. Military people get LOW pay, LONG HOURS, deploy for long times away from family......yes, no doubt the Infantry Based jobs are the most severe of sacrifice, but even the support positions can require significant hardship and sacrifice

I couldn't get a quarter of the way through the video. Imagine being a male, then imagine being emotional about some geriatric stroke victim. If you can do both, you have circumnavigated the video without being poisoned.

As a 20 year parachute rigger in the navy who dealt helmets and masks his entire career, I have to wonder why that guy is displaying a stolen one on his shelf.

Its real for sure but the ones they use are taped fully with reflective tape. Plus I can tell that the mask amp is not installed.

So for me thats the dead giveaway that both of those items were brand new and never issued to anyone.

How did he get them you have to wonder. Aviators dont have multiple helmets, they have the one they use and if it need to be replaced they get a new one. the old one they can keep but it will be old and beat up.

There is no way to just have a brand new one you can take home to display unless you are stealing it or something like that. Guess it makes sense he would be a biden voter.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

It looks totally normal to me. We don't put reflective tape on ours.

Sometimes they also give them out as souvenirs, although then it would have everyone's signature on it and I don't see that.

I don't hold it against anyone either. But I will point it out when guys throw around the word "vet" like they're combat vets or higher ups and using it to push this idea of their opinion mattering more.

Oh just saw your reply. I missed it the first time.

None. Why would I serve? So you think at the end of the day that someone should be recognized just for being part of a foreign war even if they didn't actually partake in the action of it?

Imagine a dude coming up to you and telling you he is a vet like you should hug him for saving our freedom, but all he did was join for two years for the bonus and education just to do basic training and hang out lol.

I always took the thanks as more like "thanks for taking the risk".

In the last 20 years we've had relatively few military casualties although each one is a tragedy.

However if something did kick off those people on Active Duty are the first ones into the meat grinder.

On December 6 1941 a lot of US Navy sailors had cushy jobs hanging out on Honolulu. They were out dancing with the local women on Saturday night and listening to the ships' bands. We all know how that turned out.

Yes. A person that served in the military (in this context).

Look at the video title. "Navy Vet Sends POWERFUL Message to Biden after Decision"

The only reason "navy vet" is in the title is to create that aura behind him being really important militarily which gives his message extra power.

I'm going to start putting "Warehouse manager gives powerful message to xyz" on all my opinion videos now to show that there's some real power behind my mesage.

Sorry but the majority of people in the army are people with bad families, no place to go, don't want to do a trade or go to college, don't know what to do with their life, or are genuinely retarded.

People act like most of the military are the super soldiers or from a long line of military families that are jacked and are the gunners in hollywood movies. I have several friends that are now ex military and actually saw a lot of combat, and I respect those guys because of it. Not for "saving my freedom" or anything, but for being a soldier in those situations and dealing with some intense and crazy **** I didn't. Yes it's pretty bad ass. But most of the badass military guys aren't giving youtube political opinions with lgbtq flags and love biden, and most of those early 2000s and late 2000s guys are retired. The military is not what it used to be...

That doesn't mean I just respect every schmuck that enters a contract because they are lost in life and mop the floors and chill on a boat at sea or something. That's retarded.

I agree. Being a veteran has absolutely no bearing on your opinion and it's almost a cringe narcissistic thought that, "Hey, I signed up for a volunteer force on my own volition and now I will preface things I say to gain an advantage for my words."

Stoicism is lost in a lot of modern society.

Just because you're not killing people doesn't mean you're not serving. If the ship sinks you still die, whether you're the captain or the cook.

Holy Fack, the delusion is strong with that soycuck. He actually thinks Biden wanted to step down and is on the brink of tears. You can already see the algorithms ramping up across the MSM with Harris and all this Biden sympathy chit and the Libs will eat it all up like the sheep they are. Not to mention days after a failed assassination attempt. Fuk me, our governments are so fukd.

My local electricians and plumbers do more for my community and freedom than a cook on a ship with the title "navy" on it. Why don't we say "thank you for your service" to those guys that will most likely save your ass and your comfort of living?

It seems like you're missing the point entirely. You fell for the trap of just because you were in the military you automatically get some status like you're a hero.
