Anybody here know what it's like to have a lot of enemies?

I have enemies everywhere I go, even on the misc.

When I was younger there was nothing I loved more than to dominate and taunt my enemy and drive them crazy - these days I can't be bothered.

You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life. - Winston Churchill

You can always judge a man by the quality of his enemies - Roosavelt

To our allies, naught but friendship and respect
To our enemies, naught but destruction and retribution
To all others, diplomacy is key.

Yeah, I was gonna come in here and drop this quote. GJDM.

I have a ton of enemies here. I know what it's like to have a lot of enemies. I agree with the quote. It means you not only stand up for something you deem important, but you don't back down in the face of resistance and don't a safe space where your balls are lovingly coddled.

But what does "judge a man by the quality of his enemies" mean? Because my enemies are pathetic, childish fhaggots who start squealing like angry children at the slightest hint of a challenge. I hope it means there the relation of quality between a man and his enemies is disproportionate, i.e the lower quality of enemy, the higher quality of man who has them.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.

Who else would you have for enemies on the misc? Only losers hate on people, especially online, especially on the misc. I think you're a moron because you don't recognise the existence of God, but that's your problem, not mine. I'm certainly not going to follow you around in threads posting pics of some lame shyt you posted over the years.

If your enemies and those who oppose you are high on the pecking order (social dominance hierarchy), there is a reason for it - for example your enemy is someone who is successful in their career and looks good and is popular. They would only be threatened by someone else who has potential or who they cannot control, etc.

I don't refuse to recognize the existence of God and the soul etc. I'm open to a discussion on those anytime. The only thing I did deny was this silly ghost-like conception of the soul which doesn't do justice to actual proper theistic ideas anyway.

^^^This is elating though, since my enemies are definitely not this, lol.

Yeah that's what the quote means - if you manage to become the enemy of someone big, you're doing something right. As for the monkey's screeching out of trees, a lion doesn't even notice them.

ITT:

Bodhy is a fascinating choice. The irony of a character named "Bodhy" (often associated with enlightenment or wisdom) being a self-centered manipulator is quite rich.

Wiseoldape is a paradox: a name suggesting wisdom and experience, yet embodying the antithesis of both.

What we see constantly and consistently over time:

Narcissist: Believes they are superior to others and lacks empathy.
Gaslighter: Manipulates others into doubting their own perception of reality.
Victim complex: Constantly portrays themselves as the victim, despite their actions.
Projection: Accuses others of the qualities they possess themselves.
Grandiose: Exaggerates their own importance or achievements.

Blame-shifting: Shifts responsibility for their problems onto others.
Deflective: Avoids taking responsibility for their actions.
Manipulative: Uses emotional tactics to control others.
Attention-seeking: Craves validation and approval.
Self-absorbed: Primarily concerned with their own needs and desires.

AKA turning criticism into personal attacks, playing the role of the underdog - regardless of their actions, claiming to be misunderstood or unjustly villified while actively provoking negative reactions.

What they see:

Aren't you projecting by accusing me of possessing these qualities?

Usually you only notice qualities in other people that you yourself possess - this works in many ways, but it's metaphysical in nature. Your own inner world paints the canvas of what it sees in the outer world. It may be true, but you're no better.

Anyway, back to your original retort - you do realise that the average person blame shifts, for example? Only those who are exceptional do not. The average person lies, cheats, and steals - only people who are exceptional do not do these things out of the goodness of their own heart.

Depends what you mean by enemies...

I know some people IRl who won't help me and treat me with disgust, sometimes they try to instigate a fight with me or antagonize me... And its not because I don't have a job, I had more "enemies" when I had a job and was more active in the community, I think they were jealous of me.

All your thoughts, ideas, actions, and emotions, are stored away in your soul - so you look at someone and notice how they are doing the same thing or you just assume that they are for some reason you can't explain. This latter reason is especially metaphysical.

An example would be a person commits a sin such as a risky sexual encounter - as soon as they do it, their soul is tainted, and they notice how other people are doing the same thing, even retrospectively.

Also the same reason that people with difficult and controlling personalities clash with one another.

To cut things short, we can just say, "takes on to know one".

Sure, I notice things about people, do I seem like someone that doesnt? Or are your condescending revelations really that eye opening to you that you project that naivety to others? Imo I am just way more objective, self aware, grounded and by far the most important - HONEST with myslef. I'll literally post one of my fav quotes at the end of this post that demonstrates this coined by a guy I could only ever dream of being as intelligent as.

But the average person does posess these traits at such severe and comprehensive levels. They also do not post lunatic threads with lunatic content endlessly on the misc. Amoung all of this is some absolutely far out there fkn crazy chit I have seen you post. And when you get called on it, you do all of the chit in my original retort and probably more if I took the time to list them. And FYI you're doing it now, just like all the other nutjobs on here over the years.

I hate to say it, but I just dont think you can help the delusional, srs. My weakness or folly is calling it out (BS).

Go ahead and cherry pick one part of my post and respond to only that like you always do when you reply to 'rebuttals'.

Sure, you're entitled to your own opinion about me or the world.

You're also entitled to share quotes that resonate with you - i prefer to list quotes that I've come up with myself, but each to their own.

You call my themes discussed crazy, so there's no point of explaining to you how your perception of the world is always valid and always right. You cannot argue against how someone feels and perceives the world.

If they are wrong they need your prayers all the more; and if they are your enemies, then you are under orders to pray for them. That is one of the rules common to the whole house.

One fundamental difference between the likes of you and the likes of me is I am not satified with that, that's a cope take and it's you fooling yourself aka seeking a 'truth' or narrative that follows the path of least resistance e.g. avoids cognitive dissonance or a threat response.

I keep peeling back the onion and work through the discomfort, the brutal truth, the stuff I dont want to hear or consider. I learned to do that early on and have continued to get better at it since. And when I get to a point where I can't go any further based on logic, reason and factual information available, I accept that I do not know and may never have a concrete answer in my lifetime. Or perhaps ever for humans. I can accept that.

You are the opposite, you recoil from that discomfort and seek a 'truth' that is much more palatable and dont accept not having an answer for everything - no matter how many holes are in your answer or layers of the onion that are still there.

Not really, I just know more about some things than you do.

Notice how you can never love someone with thoughts and words - neither can you love life with thoughts and words.

That is objectively true but is a retarded comment and adds nothing to the discussion, predictably. It's a strawman and a fuking weak one at that.

A pathetic red herring, no thanks. This is what I get for engaging a lunatic in good fatih for the most part. I'll go back to posting AI pics of you being a retarded, drooling ape.

Sure, keep overthinking stupid shyt into oblivion.

Also aren't you the one who is certain of himself? I accept your opinion, but I'm not going to change my whole life because of it, lmao.

My opinion is that whenever you're overthinking some sh*t, you're not enjoying life much.
