If I'm wrong, why do old prehistoric 70s Chargers, Challengers, and Chevelles sell for $100k+? Why do slow 80a air cooled Porsches sell for $100k+? Surely those people should be buying the Tesla which is seen as superior in every way.

I can list several cars that continue to gain in value and are more sought after a washing machine.

I don’t own one I have a Shelby and corvette. I rented one on Turo and was impressed so I’m gonna shop around when I get back to Buffalo for one

I’m trying to think of a time where someone used their crazy EV acceleration to pass me or hammered it at a green light but can’t think of any, nobody does that chit in regular commuting traffic where EVs are best suited.

Burying every function in a tablet is a bad design concept IMO but haven’t actually tried it myself.

Mine is fun as hell to drive honestly. They get hate from the right because they are EVs, hate from the left because Elon supports Trump, and hate from car guys because they are not in the same category as traditional motorsport vehicles, with the comparisons being thoughtless.

Still have my Tundra V8 for towing but as a daily EV is amazing.

Nah $1500 but it's a 36 month payoff. Bought during COVID so was probably $15k more than it would be right now. Was right before they announced the $7500 tax rebate coming back too.
