That's going to fall off one day. srs.

Use screws to nail it into the studs.

A place I used to work at had a picture frame fall off the walls because it wasn't screwed in properly and landed on a customers head lol. They wasn't as pist as they shouldve been.

55" TV's aren't terrible sized. They're okay, but of course larger is nicer. True terrible size is trying to watch a 32" TV in a living room because it's all you afford to get your hands on as a broke young man. But yeah, I don't think I've heard someone brag about having a 55" TV since around 2008.

Why use claw hooks when you can just use that foot.

Also how can you watch TV with that huge patch of glare blocking 33% of the screen?

Also lmao @ replies, it's over

Looks like a X-rated version of Duke Nukem.

Just drill a few holes through the TV screen, long enough to reach the wall. That was it will stay in place. Don't worry, you won't even notice the holes after a few days.

Those plastic hanging hooks are worthless for hanging anything that isn't pretty lightweight. Any sort of electronics are totally out of the question unless you want them to end up breaking, imo.

I concur. I have a 55" myself in one main living room. Some people say it should be at least 70"+, but I've done the measurements, and anything bigger than about 65% would look stupid in the space. What matters the most is how far away your couches/chairs/bed are from the TV. In a smaller bedroom, a 32" TV can be great. In a smaller living room, even a 43" can be okay. You don't really need to get into the 70"+ territory unless the space you're putting it in is a massive room.

Well obviously its for the TV only dude. And literally all TVs now a days are light AF. You would have to mount anything extra separate..

I still wouldn't rely on plastic hanging hooks with stickies on the back to mount a TV. Ones that would be small enough for me to be comfortable trying it with aren't worth hanging up in the first place for me. I'd put a couple screws into studs, but that's just me.

I must be trolling, those aren't screwed in? No way I would just straight hang it on dry wall, I didn't realize thats what OP did lol.
