doritos has removed about 5 chips per bag and increased the price at the same time



that was from 3 years ago. now it's 4.48

That Great Value brand has been pretty decent for me srs. If they have a doritos clone give it a try

Yea that's why I only eat meat, eggs, butter, bacon, salt and some organs here and there.

It's super expensive still and everything is fukked, but at least I know it's basically all just real whole foods.

The entire industry is making boatloads of money right now by pretty awful business ethics.

yeah they make the salads i buy at the asian store smaller now and the price went up. like they use a smaller container for it.

well people keep buying this crap. all i hear about is a place like chipotle squeezing the margins and skimping everybody but the parking lot is always full and there's a line every lunch and dinner so WTF are they gonna do, lower prices?

customers don't respond to stuff like this besides crying online about it. companies finally realized they can let them cry all they want on X/twitter but in real life the margins are awesome and they're making bank. customers can't let this stuff go and just spend it anyway.

To really put this in perspective.

From the late 80's to early 90's you used to be able to buy a2 POUND bag (32oz)of Doritos. IIRC around $3.60 a bag.

On Amazon they have a 2oz smaller bag (30oz) --the lowest price listed is:$13.89
