You know all these politicians hire their relatives as "consultants" and pay them huge consulting fees from the campaign donations.


Then the relatives set up businesses and LLCs and have the politicians be partners, then they disolve the LLCs and partnerships and "payout" the politicians share of the business even though the politician didn't put a dime of their own money into the business, the payout is known as "goodwill" because supposedly having them as a partner gives the business an intangible "goodwill" that must be paid out in order to dissolve the partnership/llc/business.
