How do married men cope for decades with their young wives getting fat?

So a dude marries a slim woman in his 20s or 30s and within like 5 years she's overweight -- different body type than what he was initially attracted to.

I see this often and wonder how these men get on with life for decade after decade as their wives stay the same or get even fatter?

How do they continue having sex with this woman for what is now the 5,978th time even though if honest about it, they would have never found her physically attractive?

Can dudes really love the woman's personality to the point they can have sex with her regardless of looks?

I began getting a bunch of photos celebrating their 10 Year Anniversary on Faceb*ok. Holy sh*t it is insane to see how big the wives have gotten in their from photo comparison. Tbh, the guys were not too far off.

Yeah that's what I see too. Maybe 5-10% of wives stayed in the same shape since marriage.

How do all these men deal with it? The accepting that they will never have sex again with a woman they're physically attracted to...even though they are only 30-40 yrs old.

It would seem kinda like a slow death for a man.

Basically ALL women would consider that highly offensive but perhaps you saved both of you some hurt and motivated her to not let herself go.

perhaps this situation being so common is why i've heard in other cultures the men are sorta allowed to privately have sex with more attractive women while still maintaining the marriage and love they have for their wife/family.

I can't disagree, but I think there could be some where people have the grit and determination to at least attempt keeping the sex part alive...like in their minds thinking "i won't put my partner in the position of seeing me as unattractive if there's anything i can do about it". sure wrinkles will come, hair can fall out, grays, etc, but there's something attractive about a person that actually digs down and does their best....not talking about fat women that are constantly on fad diets but never actually become not fat.

in that case the woman would go in knowing what she's marrying. i know a lot of guys do the same though by marrying fat women.

i think a man would have to be extremely mentally strong to not let himself go if married to a fat woman. when i see a married man in shape that has a fat wife...i kinda think he must be cheating on her.

idk ive not been marriage trapped by a fat western woman but i imagine that it would be the same as guys in prison ordering some twink to suck them off, they close their eyes and pretend its a hot woman.

it's kinda chicken or egg. we know men will go to great lengths to get a woman they see as attractive. they will often do the same to keep a woman they find attractive...sometimes even going as far as murder. but if a woman gives up and gets fat -- what do those men have to physically work for anymore? regardless if it's the man or woman doing it first -- how do those men stay attracted to fat women? It seems like it would be a depressing life where a man might think it would be better to have no testosterone.
