Electric mowers fkkn suck. Srs.

Mind blown that some states are mandating these things and banning gas mowers. RIP everyone's lawn.

My gas mower finally died. I always mow the last weekend of the month, so I bought a $500 Greenworks 80v mower today. Most powerful one you can buy basically.

The mower bogged down and stalled over 100 times. Srs. I had to restart it ever 10 feet, and this was on the tallest cut height. The battery claimed 1/2 acre of coverage. I had to charge it 4 times to finish out 1/4 acre property.

Returning this POS tomorrow.

Yeah wood never go electric with the mower. But for the weed wacker electric is a must.

But you capping if you think gas mowers don't bog down either.

Sounds like you got a lemon. I've been happy with the Kobalt electric that I got from Lowes.

I'm sure the smaller ones still bog. But my last mower had a 201cc Honda engine. Never an issue with anything I tried to push through.

I had an electric mower and I have to admit it was pretty good, i didn't have to fill up with petro, it was light, it was quiet, started easily and it did the job without any issues. After a few years the battery shat itself and to replace the battery was half the price of a new one which pissed me off.

I ended up buying a petrol Honda mower.

Try the Ego line. Their torque figures are close to petrol powered and are rumored to be some of the best.

That's the one I've got. They are kind of weak, but they get the job done and are less hassle overall.

Once a month? God damn white trash lawn.

I mow every 4-6 days when it’s at its peak growing season.

Yeah the electric line is awesome. Easier on your hands because less vibrations and quiet as fk.

I don’t buy expensive electric mowing equipment though since my grass sucks ass but if I had a nice yard or cut it for folks with nice yards I’d upgrade to electric

Less vibrations? I figured the battery-powered power tools was a gimmick, didn’t realize their market was solely twink fhaggots and women.

I have an electric mower - mostly because it’s so much easier and so much less noisy and annoying than gas. So long as I don’t let my yard go nuts it works just fine.

Forever renter cope. Stick to crying about Xbox and let real men have a conversation.

Still use a gas rider as way too much to use a push mower. But electric weed whackers are nice to not have a 10k RPM engine whining in your ear. Electric leaf blowers are really want needs to be come common.

Banning gas lawnmowers is probably more related to noise than it is the environment

The average gas lawnmower a homeowner has isn't what's making all that noise, its the commercial lawn crews with the huge gas leaf blowers working nonstop from 5AM onwards. The commercial lawn crews wouldn't move to electric on their own cause they don't have time to stop working and recharge

It doesn't bother me personally, but that's where its coming from
