That's for all age ranges. And I wouldn't say the majority of Americans only see the top 1% as wealthy.

Basically, if you're top 10% in net worth for your age range you're pretty wealthy. If your are between the bottom 30% and top 10% you're sorta in the middle.

I can confirm. My grandmother was a sl*t and slept with all the old men, her second husband was a billionaire, she still wore the same floral dresses for 40 years.
