Seven activists entered the airport's southern terminal at around 8am, the protest group said, adding "the situation is currently developing". An image shared on the group's website appeared to show the protesters sitting on the floor inside the airport, blocking an entrance.

"As long as political leaders fail to take swift and decisive action to protect our communities from the worst effects of climate breakdown, Just Stop Oil supporters, working with other groups internationally, will take the proportionate action necessary to generate much needed political pressure," the group said in a statement.

I have heard two versions of what happened-

1. Cops wanted to search the woman & denied their request/right to have it conducted by a female officer
2. There was some incident either on the plane itself, or at the baggage section-when they tried to arrest one of the brothers the other one jumped in & it escalated

I have zero issue with any force used before the head kick & head stomp-the situation needed controlling & with the force/violence being used by the people the cops were totally justified in tazing the guy & using reasonable force on the other one/anybody else getting involved.

However there is no way that anybody can seriously justify doing a head kick & then a curb stomp on somebody who has been tazed, is lying face down injured with his hands behind his back, not moving or causing any futher problem & in the perfect position to be handcuffed.

At that point with the situation already under control it just becomes a cop wanting revenge/inflicting violence & has nothing to do with upholding public order, upholding the law, or protecting the public/themselves.
