Consuming alcohol has no correlation to weight gain/loss.

Day 8 of sobermaxxing after putting down vodka handles for years

No change to diet

Haven't lost a single lb lol

Only exception seems to be cutting out beer. I did lose a bit of weight after quitting beers.

You were able to just get up and quit alcohol after abusing vodka handles for years?

I lost 100 pounds of fat after I quit drinking. I'd say it affects weight substantially. If you are drunk all the time you aren't living a healthy lifestyle and definitely not working out or active. And if you go purely liquid diet like some hardcores you probably look anorexic

The weight loss comes from avoiding drunk munchies and being productive in the gym

Really? Can't say ive seen a single pic of a fat Ethiopian on a 500 calorie per day diet. Or a fat anorexic chick. They always look underweight and malnourished. And you know their hormones are fukked by the lack of food yet they still look like twigs

Sounds like you are getting misled by fat acceptance "science"

son what the chit....linear means sequentially.......like, sequential weight loss would be eating 3500 calories less over 2 days and then losing exactly1 pound, but it doesn't work like that. Sometimes you lose more, sometimes you lose less, it's not LINEAR...but over time, yes, you do lose weight through calorie deprivation....so i was telling him that not losing weight over 8 days is not indicative of anything, because the week after he could lose a ton, that's how weight loss is over short periods of time.....damnit boy are you trolling me? what the chit son....damnit boy meatheads of butthole....nice deadlift btw

Weight loss and fat loss aren't the same. My weight fluctuates between 260-270 on any given day. The amount of fat is the same. It's water and glycogen. If I cut carbs out completely and ate the same calories I could probably lose 15-20 pounds within 4-5 days. Body fat is still the same. Id look leaner but it's just bloat and 0 fat was lossed. If I went on a mean deficit and lost 40 pounds. The first 2 weeks would be fastest but then I'd hit the point where if finally burning fat and then 1-2 pounds a week would be expected until I hit like 12% then I'd have to play with cardio and calories to burn fat. Most people will never get to that point because it's hard and takes a long time.

consuming that much alcohol makes you dehydrated. you'll likely gain a lot of water weight once you quit. srs
