What do you boys think of men that are happy not getting married/remarried?

When I think back to my boyohood in the 90s I remember quite a few dudes having dads that weren't married or were married then divorced and swore off marriage forever.

Sometimes these were the "cool dads" that were into something like hot rods or rock music. They weren't incels but they just didn't like the idea of being married/married again. Might have a girlfriend or date once in a while but were too set in their "freedom loving ways" to let a woman "tie them down" within marriage. They had their money, their house, their peace, hobbies, etc and probably did want to risk giving it up.

Theres no one approach that appeals to everyone.

It really depends, like the other guy said. Some guys won't get married because they are eternal manchildren while others really do think logically. Specifically if a guy meets a marriage material woman yet refuses to marry her citing some reason he picked up from the manosphere ("muh piece of paper. Muh divorce rape")

literally no one cares about your opinion on marriage or any man over 30

to answer OP, I don't think anything about them just based off that one fact. that's not enough info to assess someone.

I mean, if I got divorced, the last thing I'd try to do is rush into another marriage. As far as I'm concerned, I'm one and done. If anything crazy happens, I'll just be an old ass man talking about my girlfriend.
I'm back, bitches!

saw a clip of that grant cardone feller and was basically saying no man should marry (or even think about getting laid) until 35-40+ so they have time to become wise and established.

also why is married/divorced ok but never married not? does a man going through the ringer somehow make him better than never going through it?

everyone should want to get married in 2024? what about those that have seen the horrors of marriage without actually being married themselves?

the "cool dad" kids i knew turned out fine -- likely because both parents were heavily involved in their life. two happy parents > married parents that hate life. cardone was saying a man shouldn't be thinking of women/kids/marriage until he's 35-40+, wise and established. i kinda get what he's saying because people under 30 are usually pretty stupid in today's world so how should they know who to marry. a man at 35-40+ doesn't just think mostly with his sex drive...more discerning in how he operates.

people under 30 are basically retards that don't even want marriage/kids anymore. the marriage rate and especially white birth rate are at all time lows.

I'm glad I had kids in my 20's. Those days with my young family were really good. It's not that hard for a 25-year-old to be ready for a family. I think if you want a family, and you intentionally wait that long to start one, you are playing with fire.

Good for them. Though you have to wonder, if they're so happy, why is that all they talk about? It's not even something they did, but something they didn't do. Weird isn't it?

I’m struggling to think of reasons you’d want to get married again if you’ve already gone through that and made your kids etc, unless you want more kids

The only reasons I can think of are questions around what happens when you get much older, maybe a bit of companionship but you probably want some freedom and time alone after all that

I know several guys that are married , but not happily. In my case I had a narrow window of time when I finally got my chit together and pulled a few dozen sloots.
It was very short lived , like 4 years when I was pulling hard, then later on it was the odd sloot here and there .
I was never good at retaining sloots, as I find it’s like entertaining a child all the time .
I don’t have many regrets not getting married, other then it would have been cool to have a son to dirt bike and pump iron with .
Otherwise I don’t give 2 fks . One guy I used to work with is 9 years younger than me and on his third marriage. It definitely put him back many years financially.
3 others I knew at work in different departments are divorced and financially devastated.
I’m glad I missed the part tbh. Can’t imagine paying a sloot alimony so she can sit on her ass all day drinking wine with her divorced friends, telling them what a strong independent woman she is on your dime lol

No thx Geoff

Marriage is a gamble. Don't believe the hype and lose your networth on account of some societal pressure nomsayin

Also don't take marriage advice from a woman. Different pressures, different perspectives.

They'll never understand what it's like to be a man.
None of the above constitutes legal advice nor should be interpreted as such.

I personally don't care either way. Some men are happy being married while others prefer not to. I personally loved the concept of marriage when it was actually something important. I also have never been a fan of any government intervention..in marriage or any other aspect...I personally know friends who are happier than ever and also a few who simply took that step because they felt they had to and are now miserable.

In either case, my personal opinion is that if you're married or not and you feel the need to mock others for taking a different path....you're simply not happy or confident in your own choices and are just trying to convince yourself.
