It’s gonna sound cliche but walking in the house and having my son run up smiling saying “dada,” and hugging my legs. Being able to kiss my wife and hold my newborn daughter.
Kiddos can be a handful for sure but the good times make it worth it imo and that’s coming from someone who didn’t want kids.

Waking up next to my woman and my cat cuddling me.

Having a cup of coffee during a rainy day with the window cracked.

Having a really good workout where you feel like you put in work and the rest of your day will feel easy now.

Achieving something, even something small, and thinking about how it would make my family who passed away proud of me if they were to see it.

Enjoying a lazy Sunday of just relaxing, watching football all day, and eating some good food.

Same here with my kids. Like when they come running to me all excited "daddy!" Hearing them giggle from another room does it too.

Also, getting things done that I've procrastinated about makes me happy. Talking to a friend I haven't spoken to in awhile - awesome.
