Short sell everything with substantial outsourcing
I'm seeing it first hand from an insiders point of view. Nearly every company with outsourcing is failing on multiple fronts, especially outsourcing to india/china. Also any company which outsources its own operations to 3rd party's.
The economy is buckling and these 3rd parties are cutting corners in ways the umbrella company cannot see in time. The chickens come home to roost.
You've been told.

Wouldn't cutting corners make outsourcing the smart move?

This means the 3rd party has even less compitence as they pay their workforce less and hire to fill seats. The person who sells the outsourcing is the smart one, not the people executing the outsourcing.
Companys want a quick fix to brain drain and lifeline after biting the AI bubble hook line n sinker

Are senior people retiring? Did they fire all the smart people? What is it?

All of your Big Tech companies at the top of the NASDAQ employ literal armies of H1-Bs. In the engineering ranks, we are very literally talking 10 immigrants for every 1 citizen.

Yea one of the companies we use for shipping just went under friday morning. A multibillion dollar company.
Part of the reason is that USPS is going to pump an extra 25% of funding into expanding and eliminating 3rd party companies. I'm guessing that's why Pitney Bowes just decided to file for bankruptcy and liquidate their assets. 11k people added to the unemployment pool on top of all these other places going out of business.
It's getting real weird out there.
