He looks 6'1" at best if you assume that Hogan is 6'6" barefoot and Andre is 6'11" barefoot at this point in his life(7'1" peak early 70s?).

Andre was likely never 7 foot-he was dwarfed by Wilt Chamberlain in 1983-who says he is 7 foot 1. Andre would always try to avoid tall celebrities because it would expose him & he wore lifts in his boots & in interviews in the early 1980's would be standing on a box to make him look even taller next to Vince, Bruno, Pat Patterson etc while they were interviewing him.

Andre was probably 6 foot 8 without lifts, Hulk likely 6 foot 4 or 6 foot 5. Donald is probably 6 foot 1 or 2, but wears lifts.

Andre is slouching and has HORRIBLE posture in that photo. Andre looks taller than 7'1 1/8" barefoot Wilt in this photo where they both have equal posture.
Wilt is wearing like a 3 in wig on his head. Look at where the hairlines start to compare height.

The Wilt Andre photo is on the Set of Conan the Destroyer which was filmed between November 1, 1983, to February 10, 1984. This is way before The Princes Bride and Andre was taller than during the Princess Bride.
