I worked with a dude who came over here from Pakistan. We work in engineering/construction and he said deaths on the projects was common and that they would bus in migrant workers for pennies per hour but he couldn’t go for site walks unescorted because the temp workers would corner and rape you.

I'm guessing lot of these men are relatively poor and feel as though they cannot date traditionally if dating is still often "arranged" and men need a certain status to be considered, thus they give up hope and resort to assault.

I understand Western societies may have gotten too liberal with sex but perhaps the level of shame women have to deal with around sex in other cultures is also not the answer. Maybe if women were able to date more freely, men would feel less hopeless towards finding romantic partners and assault would become less rampant.

Those are the lowest caste, they are not marriage material and most are virgins, their only chance at sex in their life time is rape. They are too poor to even buy prostitutes
