And they should be kicked right back if they intend on voting for the policies that ruined their original homes in the first place.

Increased sausage demand could be worrying signal on the economy

An uptick in sausage demand can offer the latest sign of consumers tightening their belts as they continue grappling with high prices.

There has been “modest growth” in the dinner sausage category for one producer, according to the Dallas Federal Reserve’s Texas Manufacturing Outlook Survey released Monday. This underscores the trends of shoppers opting for cheaper products and pulling back spending all together as cumulative inflation bites into purchasing power.

“This category tends to grow when the economy weakens,” the respondent said, according to edited comments included in the Dallas Fed’s report. That is because “sausage is a good protein substitute for higher-priced proteins and can ‘stretch’ consumers’ food budgets.”

Restaurant bankruptcy filings have surged so far this year, echoinga broader rise in corporate bankruptcies across sectors.

At least 10 restaurant chains, not including multi-unit franchisees, have filed for bankruptcy in 2024. August alone brought three Chapter 11 filings from notable eateries. The increase in bankruptcies comes as diners pull back their spending, labor costs keep rising and Covid-era government help disappears.

Several more restaurant chains could file for bankruptcy before the end of the year. BurgerFi
, which also owns Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings, said in a regulatory filing in mid-August that there is “substantial doubt” about the company’s ability to operate. Others, such as Mod Pizza, have narrowly avoided bankruptcy through a last-minute sale.

Restaurants are not the only companies seeking bankruptcy protection as high interest rates weigh on businesses.Chapter 11 filings have climbed 49% this yearas of Aug. 20, according to BankruptcyWatch. Mall retailer Express, nursing home chain LaVie Care Centers and Joann Fabrics and Crafts are among the companies that have filed for bankruptcy protection this year.

If there is anyone who can fix the problems that have been developing over the past few years, it's the person who has been the current sitting vice president for the past 3 and a half+ years. Clearly they're the change that is needed.

Canadians should really stop trying to speak on American politics. They have their own mess of a country to worry about.

nutsy, nutsy, nutsy, your lies have become more and more transparent.

You know the Federal Budget doesn't reset to zero just because there's a new administration.

The Democrats inherited a yearly budget deficit of $3.132 trillion dollars.

Biden and future President Harris have cut it in half at $1.693 trillion dollars.

Holy hell,it literally does!Every fiscal year is a brand new budget, starting on a blank piece of paper.

We're nowthree fiscal yearsinto the Biden administration, and you're still blaming Trump? 2 1/2 YEARS ago, when this ridiculous failure of a thread started, you gave Biden all credit for "Biden has done a heroic job of cleaning up the mess Trump left him, especially the massive deficit..." Now, it's back to "Not Biden's fault"

Weak manufacturing measures raise specter of U.S. economic slowdown

U.S. factories remained in slowdown mode in August, fueling fears about where the economy is headed, according to separate manufacturing gauges.

The Institute for Supply Management monthly survey of purchasing managers showed that just 47.2% reported expansion during the month, below the 50% breakeven point for activity.

Why does EctoCuck keep blathering on about “trailer parks” when the majority of people who live in trailer parks and Section 8 housing are Democrat voters?

Oh, and where’s the Biden Boom?
