When given food- if it comes with a lemon or lime are you spritzing it on your food?

Why or why not?

What if it was next to something like a shepherds pie - lemon. Would you take the suggestion or no?

So are you asking if we would just spritz a lemon onto any kind of food regardless of whether it's traditionally associated with spritzed lemon?

Like no I won't spritz a fresh lemon onto my chocolate ice cream.
Yes but also the typical places like lime on Latin food, lemon on seafood . Kinda curious at people that don’t use it. If someone served me chocolate Icecream with a lemon wedge on the side it’s likely I’d spritz it on. I’d just assume that they had a reason for the flavors going together lol.

Edit- btw I have a great thread idea for tomorrow

No

I think lemon might be used on some chicken dishes though, fish and seafood obviously.

If I think it would enhance the flavor, yes.
Otherwise, probably would look at it like its just a weird choice for a garnish and move it off the plate.

I thought was just for garnish like the kale. Or celery sticks served with wings. It is there to make it look pretty.
