Just bought a new PC with a 9800x3d and a 9070xt. I haven't been able to get it set up yet because im in the middle of a pretty substantial home addition but I can't wait. Its easily the best PC I've ever owned (even relative to timing of buying my other PCs)

Fully on PC now. Even did my GPU upgrade last month before the dumbass prices skyrocket due to ram shortages. I can now weather the ram shortage for a while until the 6/7 series comes out. Feelsgoodman, my current pc now is an absolute beast that just blows away anything I throw at it.... MyPS5 and Xbox has been literal deadweight for the past 2 years now. The only game that'll get me back to consoles is GTA 6 and Wolverine.

I highly doubt I'll get a PS6 when it releases unless Sony keeps releasing banger after banger every few months. Not even gonna bother with Xbox since they've pretty much given up in the console space now lol.

I play on PS5, its nice to play on the couch and tv as opposed to the desk and chair. srs

PCMR here, I will say I kind of no longer care about video games and with PC prices being fuked for the last 5 years, I don't think I'm ever going to upgrade my PC.

Consoles will also become really expensive too though.

This is another example of why Xbox is so great. They have a real plan for mature gamers and have managed to grow beyond the console unlike Sony and Nintendo. The next Xbox is said to be a PC/console hybrid which is actually an exciting concept, far better than just "Xbox Series X 2" or "Playstation 6." Even most Sony fans admit how they aren't excited for a PS6 and don't give a shit anymore. But Microsoft is smarter than that, Xbox is more forward thinking than that. Mark my words: Xbox is going to dominate next gen.

Imprecise? What are you talking about competitive shooters. As for shooters or competitive games, 1080p will always be the best resolution to play them on. As for the human eye, can't really discern past 120fps. You got the series x literally pumping out out those numbers as well as keyboard and mouse support.

Don't wanna buy a 3k PC, put on a beautiful walking simulator game, say "wow looks so nice" then never touch the game again.

When you use a mouse you will feel the difference more than you will see the difference.

I have a 240hz monitor and if I set it to 120hz I can noticeably feel how less responsive it is esp in fps games. Playing apex legends on pc at 240 vs console at 120 is night and day difference srs.

Yeah I am the same basically

Still on a 5950x and 3080ti and I have no desire to upgrade. I don't play games like I used to and even when I do it's just bf6 or some random rogue lite, nothing that makes me feel like I need more power

I haven't gamed on PC (other than low tech stuff like Red Alert 95) since the early 2000s. I am the type of guy who buys a new console, content that I don't need to worry about drives, amount of RAM, graphics cards, latest this and that as everything is taken care of in the console.

Game graphics still look amazing on my Xbox Series X, when playing on my 4K LED. I don't plan to ever become a PC-cel

Similar setup to me - 5800X3D + 7800XT and I dont see myself upgrading until AM6 comes out. Everything I play is buttery smooth already, I only upgrade when the games I play stop running smoothly.

I really didn’t either. Now My dualsense controller is used a lot more than my ps5. I’m holding onto it for Wolverine if Wolverine isn’t coming to pc anytime soon after it comes . Something about replaying gow on even a decent build instead of a console. But because of pc I don’t even need an Xbox anymore. Switch is cool to own still, the exclusives and it’s a solid piece of hardware . I still don’t plan to play those on a pc that complicated maybe illegal way? Therefore the switch is still needed. Vr isn’t necessary at all.

Yeah you can play everything from switch on PC. Sometimes it is nice to just play a handheld on the couch or in bed though.

Who cares what people use. I built my PC 10 years ago, have no idea what console variations there are nowadays or games being made for them, and never think about console users or why anyone uses them even if I come across a playstation or xbox topic.
